The members of MacDowell Music Club promote musical excellence and teaching in the community. Membership is open to all teachers i.e. school teachers and private teachers, musicians, and music appreciators. One does not have to play an instrument or perform.

In addition to the Membership Benefits above, Teacher Membership entitles teachers to participate in MacDowell Awards Programs and the North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs/Festivals.
